2nd Annual Gila Valley Stampede

Last weekend, our James and Larissa put on the 2nd Annual Gila Valley Stampede in Pima, AZ.  It was SUPER fun!
Here are some highlights!

Brooke's daughter running (real fast) to catch some baby chicks!

Brittany's son is on crutches, Bridget's son has the grey hat on, and Brooke's daughter running (real fast).

Time to let the big chickens go!

Waiting to catch the Big Chickens.

Briana's kids caught some big chickens and one even caught a greased pig!  While they where trying to catch the pig, Brooke got handed a chicken to hold.  That chicken was MEAN!  It kept pecking her!!!

Here is James with the Money Goat.  He is the one who put on the Gila Valley Stampede!  We loved every moment of it!!!!
If any of you are in the Gila Valley next year, you definitely need to go!!!

Ashton's Baptism

This past November, Ashton turned eight years old! We were in Arizona for the Thanksgiving holiday, so we decided to have his baptism then.

So the day after Thanksgiving, we went to a Stake Center in Gilbert and Ben baptized Ashton.

It was a special baptism and there were lots and lots of family there.  We filled up the whole Relief Society Room!

After the Baptism, we all went to Grandma and Grandpa Reed's house for dinner.  It was a whole lot of fun and really tasty!

We are so proud of Ashton and his decision to get baptized.  He is such a good boy and always makes it a point to read his scriptures every night and say his prayers!

Traveling to the MTC

We left Monday morning the 26th of September to take Jared to the MTC

    Jared, Brian and James
in front of the St George Temple.

Jared was able to meet Jeremy and visit with him for about and hour.
He was real excited to finally be able to meet him.

We had some extra time and went to the Provo river so
James and Jared tried to get each other wet.

3 years before Jared and I spent time throwing rocks in the
river before John entered the MTC

James and Jared were able to have some bonding time
by trying to get each other wet. It was a fun time.
